Carly Dell earned her bachelors degree in dance from the University of Tampa. While at the University of Tampa, Carly performed and choreographed for various collegiate performances.
She has developed her teaching skills through the University of Tampa’s Dance Program, with a focus on Brain-Compatible Teaching Methodology. She has been in the teaching industry over six years and has taught dance to students of varying ages and abilities.
In addition to teaching and choreographing, Carly has presented research and spoke on panels at the American Collegiate Dance Association Southwest Conference (ACDA 2025) and the National Dance Education Organization Conference (NDEO 2023).
She was proudly recognized as the University of Tampa’s 2023-2024 Outstanding Dance Student of the Year, as well as granted the Charlene Gordon Excellence Award from University of Tampa in 2025 for her unwavering commitment to bringing dance into the community.
Carly enjoys teaching all ages, but has a special spot for igniting passion in young dancers to pursue a future in the arts. She looks forward to the many lives Unity in Motion SRQ will inspire and uplift.
